Your presence is better than your presents

At Christmas time it is so easy to get wrapped up in the stress of trying to find the perfect gift for everyone you know and their aunts, sisters dog and spending hours in Tesco filling your trolley with endless amounts of food that you know you and your family will never finish but its Christmas and you want to pull out all the stops so you’ll get it anyway!

Christmas is all about love, joy, hope and peace, so how do we sometimes forget to include these basics? All we should be doing is spreading the love to the people you meet, sharing the joy with your family and friends, hoping for the best for everyone and remembering to have some peace in your life.

If everyone remembered the true meaning of Christmas and put things in perspective, just imaging how much more enjoyable this time of year would be. At the end of the day, its Jesus’ birthday, so why are we doing anything other celebrating and have the best time possible?! Theres no need to stress, you know you and your family and friends are going to have a wonderful time no matter what. Christmas is the perfect time to be merry and bright, spread love and give our time and gifts to the people we love and anyone who needs it. It costs nothing to give the gift of love.

“Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” – Romans 12:10

“A merry heart does good like medicine” – Proverbs 17:22
